Krísuvík - Blue Lagoon - Reykjanes

This fascinating tour covers the gushing hot springs and boiling mud pools of the geothermal area at Krísuvík, a region of great beauty in a lunar landscape surrounded by a ring of brooding mountains.

You will see lava cones and craters of different sizes and shapes and we will visit the bridge between the continents. We head for the lighthouse on the most western tip of the peninsula. This is a magnificent area with rich bird life in the summer.

You can feel the forces of nature and hear the surf crashing at the beautiful basaltic cliffs. It’s simply magical! From there we continue through the lava fields to a nearby fishing village of Grindavík.

A visit to the Blue Lagoon for a relaxing swim provides a memorable tour.
